KATE ALEXIS ELLIOTT

Filmmaker, Content Creator, Writer, Actor and DJ.

Kate Elliott is one of New Zealand's most awarded and celebrated actors. With a career spanning over 25 years her wealth of knowledge and passion for the characters and stories of this country has bled over to her writing her own fiction. Five years ago Kate started producing and directing video content for VICE and REDBULL. Her documentary ‘Lost Boys of Taranaki’ has gained over 1.3 million views on YouTube and was nominated for a Voyager Media Award in 2018. Kate’s next chapter in her life involves Writing and Directing more of her own work and working as an Actor Internationally.

Produced and Directed a variety of video projects for VICE both long and short form. Covering everything from local NZ hip hop, Interviews with international artists, comedy, current affairs, live performances to longer form Zealandia episodes ‘Lost Boys Of Taranaki’ and Suffrage documentary ‘Women In The House’. Branded video content for clients that include Roadshow Entertainment, NZ Land Transport Authority, Samsung, New Balance, Vodafone and Nike.

Produced and Directed the ongoing content series ‘What’s Up With..’ for REDBULL NZ working with both Local and International Artists and Sports People. 

Available for freelance work through her agent Lion Rock Management in New Zealand and Australia. Kate is currently working on her 01 Visa for work in the United States.
